Peak Camping

Applies to camping on Friday and Saturday nights from June 2 through October 12, except holidays.

Applies to camping Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Columbus Day weekends (three-night minimum). Fourth of July weekend will have a four-night minimum.

Campsite Policies

  • Our rates are based on 2 people

    We allow one family or 4 adults (21 years or older) maximum per site. (Family definition is 2 adults and their unmarried children.)

    Anyone under 21 years old must be accompanied by their parent

    There is a two night minimum for all sites during peak camping

    Check in time is 3 pm, check out time is 2 pm

    Persons not pre-registered for camping will be charged as a visitor upon arrival according to our Visitor Rates

  • All deposits are required within 7 days of making reservations

    Peak and Holiday reservations - Friday and Saturday nights from May 31 to October 15 and holidays—full deposit is required.

    Off Peak reservations - Camping any time from April 15 to May 23 and weeknights (Sunday to Thursday) all season, except holidays—50% deposit is required.

    Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express cards are accepted

  • Campsite fee refunds are available on cancellations made seven days or more before arrival

    A gift card will be issued when you cancel six days or less before arrival

  • Available for ten or more sites.

    25% off nightly rate during off-peak camping

    Group rate not available during peak times or on holiday weekends

    Group rate not available for rental units

  • 2 person max on site, 62 years and over

    10% off daily, weekly, and monthly rates for all campsites and rentals

  • Reservations can be made year round. Book your favorite site up to 12 month in advance.

    You will have the first option to reserve your same campsite for next season. You will have until checkout time (Rentals 11am, Campsites 2pm) to make your reservation for the same campsite only. For those interested in changing sites for 2025, please see the Office after 2pm. The deposit amount must be paid at the time of making the reservation.

    You will be locked into this year’s nightly rate for next year’s reservation when you reserve and pay your required deposit between April 15th - October 15th.

    This policy does not apply to Golf Cart Rentals. Reservations made after October 15th will be subject to any price increases.

  • We do allow pets to camp along with you, with some exceptions*. If a few guidelines are followed, your favorite companion can have a great time camping too!

    Pets must be on a leash at all times

    No pet should be left at the site alone

    There are two pet walking areas on both sides of the river.

    Please pick up after your pet while out for walks

    Pet Clean-Up stations are located around the campground and have waste bags for your dog

    Pets are not allowed in or around public buildings

    You are required to have an up-to-date rabies certificate readily available.

    Pets are not allowed in or around rentals (except units T5, T6, and T7*)

    * Skyline Park Model T5, T6, and T7 are pet friendly!

    Charges are fully refundable on half hour stay. Visitors staying 2 hours or less and leaving before 8pm will receive a 50% refund

    Day visitors must be out by 11pm, overnight visitors at 3pm the next day.

    5 years and under FREE for day or overnight stays

    If a site is at capacity (4 adults or one family), only day visitors are permitted for that site

  • Overnight visitors on campsites must be approved at the Office

    We allow one family or 4 adults (21 years or older) maximum per site, no overnight visitors will be permitted if a site has reached it’s capacity

    No overnight visitors allowed in the rental units

Minimum Stays

There is a two-night minimum to book a rental site.

There is a three-night minimum on Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Columbus Day Weekends.

There is a four-night minimum for Fourth of July weekend.

Guests should expect to bring bedding, linen, cooking, and eating utensils.

Our 38-foot Skyline park models offer all the comforts of home. Inside each unit is a full bath, one bedroom with a split carpeted loft, a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, microwave oven, conventional gas stove and oven, coffee maker, toaster, stereo, a 32” flatscreen T.V. (with VGA, HDMI, and RCA hookup), plus a refrigerator, freezer, and A/C. Outside includes an awning, a deck with tables and chairs, a picnic table, and a charcoal barbecue grill. There is a ramp to the deck entering T-6.

Stewart Lodges

Our Stewart Lodges give you the feeling of the great outdoors with all the comforts of home. Inside each unit is a sleeping loft, a master bedroom (units R8 and R10 have a double bed, until R9 has a queen) and a full bathroom. Also included in the Stewart Lodges: microwave oven, conventional gas stove and oven, coffee maker, toaster, 32" color TV, plus a full-size refrigerator, freezer, and A/C. Outside there is a 12’ by 12’ screened-in porch with a table and chairs, a large open deck, and a charcoal barbecue grill.

Birches cabin

Our Cabin has two rooms and offers comfortable sleeping with one full bed and two bunk beds. Also included is heat, 20" TV, a small refrigerator, coffee maker, a picnic table, and a charcoal barbecue grill. There is no indoor plumbing, however there are restroom facilities nearby.

    Check in time is 3 pm and check out is 11 am.

    No discounts are allowed on Rental units.

    No smoking in rentals.

    No pets allowed in or around the rental area. *Except T5, T6, and T7, which are designated pet-friendly

    Tents are not allowed to be set up on rental unit sites.

    No overnight visitors are allowed.

  • All payments must be received within 7 days of making reservations

    Holiday and weekend reservations require payment in full

    50% deposit required on all non-holiday reservations.

  • A security deposit of $100 is required on all Rental Units (can be paid upon arrival) and will be returned within 2 weeks

    We expect rentals to be left clean and undamaged. A cleaning or damage fee may be subtracted from the security deposit

  • Refunds are available on cancellations over 7 days prior to arrival date

    Gift Certificates issued if canceled less than 6 days prior to arrival date

2023 Season

golf cart rentals

Lone Oak is now offering the rental of 4-seat gas golf carts. Weekend reservations require a 2-day minimum and a 3-day minimum on holidays. Golf carts can be reserved by calling the office or by checking availability online. There is a $50 deposit to reserve a golf cart.

  • Lessee must be a minimum of 21 years old.

    Operator(s) of Golf carts must be minimum 16 years of age and have in their possession a valid driver's license. A copy of each operators drivers license is required at the office to rent a golf cart. (Moped license, learner's permit, etc. are not acceptable)

    Golf Carts operated after sunset must have lights turned on.

    Golf Carts cannot be operated during quiet hours (11PM to 8AM weekends, 10PM to 8AM weekdays).

    Golf Carts must be operated properly. Horseplay, racing or other misuse of the cart will not be tolerated. Carts are to be operated on blacktop, gravel roadways, and flat open fields only. No driving through campsites or other restricted areas. Speed limit is strictly enforced.

    Golf Carts must remain on Lone Oak property at all times. Do not drive on or near Rt 44.

    Golf Carts must be returned at the designated time. Late returned carts will be charged $10 for every hour late.

    Golf Carts can carry a maximum of 4 people and all passengers must be seated at all times when cart is in motion.

    Lost keys incur a $20 charge.

    Anyone found abusing the rules and regulations of rental golf carts will forfeit all rental privileges. There will be no refunds made if the cart has been returned or confiscated because of Lessee misuse.

    Lessee must present a valid Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express credit card to be able to rent a golf cart.
