“Maybe Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas…perhaps…means a little bit more!” How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Santa is arriving for a midsummer vacation. Join Santa and his elves for some fun Christmas activities like Site Decorating, Gingerbread/Graham Cracker House Decorating Contest, Golf Cart Light Parade with caroling around the campground, and much more. Watch out for the mysterious snowstorm that is forecasted to hit Lone Oak’s Rec Field at 2 pm.

Fundraising: The Annual Themed Gift Item Raffle will be on Saturday, drawing at 5 PM. Campers and Lone Oak employees donate baskets/gift items with a theme of their choice to be raffled off with proceeds to benefit North Canaan Fire Co. You may donate Gift Items individually or gather friends and neighbors to share the cost. Please bring your donated Baskets/gifts items to the office by Friday, August 4, by 6 pm.

Tickets are available for purchase at the back of the rec hall on Saturday, 12 pm - 4:45 pm. The drawing starts at 5 pm (you do not need to be present to win)

Fundraising: Christmas in August. TUTU Event (Saturday @ 2 PM)

We are planning a return of the pink tutus to raise money for breast cancer! Contact John Ellis at 203-996-2097 or paintingbyjohnellis@gmaill.com for more details.

Gifts should be labeled with the site number, name, and age written on them. Remember to bring your own decorations for the Site Decorating Contest.
