The kids will have a fishing derby in Lori’s Pond at 9 am, and the adults can fish in the state-stocked Blackberry River that runs through Lone Oak property.
No Fishing in Lori’s Pond until the Fishing Derby Saturday at 9 am! Please remember Lori’s Pond is for catch-and-release fishing! Be prepared with a fishing pole. Bait can be purchased in our Chipmunk Market.
A fishing license is required for those 16 years and over for the Blackberry River.
Note: Lone Oak Campsites is no longer selling fishing licenses. These are required for anyone over the age of 16 to fish in the Blackberry River. You can purchase a fishing license by visiting your town hall at our local bait shop (Jim’s Bait & Tackle 860-824-5773) or purchase your fishing license online.
Food Truck! “Crepe Royale” will be on Rec field #2 next to the parking lot from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Sweet and Savory menu! Seating is available at the starlight stage.
