Fall Festival Weekend
On Saturday October 4th campers of all ages enjoyed our fun fall activities. The rain couldn't keep the campers away from our Pumpkin Patch and the Apple & Pumpkin Pie Baking Contest!

Pumpkin Patch Hayride: October 4, 2003 We set up our very own Lone Oak Pumpkin Patch! The campers took a Hayless Hayride to the Patch where the kids got to pick out their own pumpkins. The kids were able to bring their pumpkins into the rec hall where the Hayless Hayride ended. At the rec hall the kids used markers, crayons and more to decorate their pumpkins.

Apple & Pumpkin Pie Baking Contest: October 4, 2003 A rainy day couldn't keep the bakers away! The kids were all smiles with the tasty treats around, This year there was a big turnout with a total of 12 pies! They all tasted great but the judges did have to choose a few winning pies. And the winners were ...
	The kids were happy near the warm pies ...				... but it was so hard to wait to eat them!
	Judges had a difficult but tasty job ...				... they enjoyed every minute!
